  • it drives me nuts how often canadian jazz players were driven to play pop & easy arrangements...at least as suggested by film and audio recordings.

  • I'd like to hear you and Ed Bickert swing over great Bickert changes together.

How the hell are you??? Think of you guys often! Sascha Burland

  • Simply my favourite Flugal Horn player. Guido's work with the legendary Boss Brass will never, no never, date. Thank you Guido and Rob

    Peter Smith UK

  • guido basso made me so happy when he told me: "sweet compimg boy"....i was playing in a college big band and was listening too a lot of ed bickert work at this time

  • First time I've ever heard the great Ed Bickert suck. A guy's got to make a living somehow.

  • never seen ed looking so young, but yes, very pedestrian arrangement. Who's on drums?

  • @andyscenic "never seen ed looking so young". There is a video or tow on here from the late 50s with Ed in a buzzcut. It's better music than this crap, too.

  • any idea what year this is?

  • It was 1965

  • My guess Jimmie Dale did the arrangement? Odd to hear Ed solo using the bridge pickup.

  • God what a waste of incredible talent.

  • Guido had hair?

  • Ed looks very young!! Good stuff.
