@erskineashes I'm not sure which episode. The only reason I was able to catch it was because of tevo. Just chance. If you were to try and do a search though, it was within the last eight years of the show because the Character "Newly" (the guy that walks in) was on the show from 1967 to it's ending in 1975.
The real origin of Gunsmoke is that it was propaganda put out by the elite to justify government and brainwash the masses. Many times Matt Dillion will say "I didn't kill him, the law did." and this will be just minutes after we see him pull the trigger on his gun and shoot the person. I love watching Gunsmoke. That I even though i'm a small town country, I love westerns. I watch them when I can get the chance. Love Newly, he is cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have nearlly seen all of them and watch most of the ones I've already seen.

It is as popular today as it was years ago.
Festus is one reason why.
