Hey man, quick question. I have painted my case with a GLOSS enamel paint. IN my case, there are quite a few small holes and indents, which I am not going to be able to sand, or buff. Do you think it would be worth putting clear on? Or could it have adverse effects? Thanks :)

  • This is an awesome tutorial! thanks Tony D!

  • can i use a mouse sander?

  • This might be the most thorough video I've ever seen, ever

  • how do you wet sand a case that can't be taken out like a laptop, or don't you use water and just go dry sanding?

  • @Razwithz you would drysand for sure

and to make sure that the paint has good bite to the surface before you do any airbrushing or putting on candies scratch some with a red scotch bright

but not enough to go through the material, just to where the surface looks pretty dull

  • @Razwithz and when i say dull i mean like at 4:05

that would be perfect ime to do airbrushing...

but not like on the clear the base would be that dull

  • hi! good videos man, teached me alot! :D

but, i got one question, do you sand down between each lair of clearcoat?

or are you doing all the sanding down at the end?

keep up the good work either way! :D

  • I like hardstyle and such, but damn the music is too intrusive for tutorials........ -.-

  • i in malaysia famous in spraying all kinds of helmet.. but i never use airbrush coz i dont knw how to do it like u.. myb after this i try my best do it like u.. awesome.. gud job man.. thx..

  • Do you use soapy water?

  • Well, he say in the tutorial that he uses special "wetsandpaper"

  • Are you just using normal dry sandpaper that you "drouning" in water and some sope?

  • I wouldnt mind having this case like this thoug, even thoug its a throw-out

  • I'm not sure about the wet sanding paper. Why do you use 1000 grit and not 1500 grit. Isn't that kinda same? Usually in automotive they use 1500 grit to 2000 then buffer.

  • He went 1000, 1500, then 2000.

  • was this a promo or a actual job

  • Just a promo. I found this case on the side of the street. Someone was throwing it out.

  • awesome thanks

  • can't wait to see the final video, keep up the great vids

  • Super !!!

  • When sanding in long strokes, do you always go in the same direction or "cross hatch" sand.

  • Same direction

  • really helpful thanks cant wait for 4th part :)

  • Keep it up!

  • Nice man

  • Great job as usual...great vids...
