  • HELL YEA 22R NICE SET UP WITH THE TURBO! OUT HERE IN DA 671 WE DOING SIDE DRAFT FOR 22R's

  • where did u get the carburator box on the top of the carburator i am trying to do the same thing but i cant find parts i would thankful for the help thank joe

  • @82joet summit racing

  • you need an intercooler at any psi running without one drasticly heats up the air going into your motor and can cause major temperature problems and melting but for something that doesnt run for hours at a time then no intercooler is really nesessary, you would get more power from running one and more reliability but w/e, anyways on to what i came here to say, you should fix the little problem that i spotted... your turbo has a motor problem

  • you dont need an intercooler at 10psi?

  • @stephintegra88 has one now. look at my other videos

  • I always feel uneasy about blow through running lean under boost. The dizzy has the redundant centrifugal advance. Both diaphragm ports are capped. Isn't this binding it from rotating? Looks and sounds great. After decades of Toyota fun, I'm ready to give up gasoline. We regard it as unremarkable, but compared to all other fossil fuels...it is the most cantankerous. Swings in cost, perishable, chemistry changes seasonally, thins and soots the oil, pings. It gets bitchy, It should be in a museum.

  • where are you running your oil feed line from? thanks.

  • @yamaha85stevenson oil pressure sensor location

  • Your master slave is a little low there buddy :D

  • aw man could u tell me everything u did id love to do this to my 83celica

  • you have some pictures of modifiel turbo on 22 r engine

i just star to put turbo on my celica webers carburetor side draft.

  • Where did you lock your timing at? Did you sumped your tank or using the stock pick up for your fuel tank? And can you shoot a video of your turbo and the down tube? Thanks

  • @bigdaddyvu i blocked the vacum advance off. set the timing at 5 degrees base. stock fuel tank and pick up. new fuel pump

  • nice

  • Did you do a hanger 18 mod to your holley 500? or did you get a blow through carb. I have a b/t turbo camaro and it makes awesome power. I though it be cool to do it to my 2wd toyota. Also what intake did you use?

  • @bigdaddyvu i did most of the hanger 18 stuff minus the powervalve drilling. it runs pretty good. i used the stock intake with an adapter from jegs.

  • Thanks for posting the setup looks similar to mine be awesome if you could do some 0 to 60 vids

  • I got the carb hat from summit.

Mpg didn't change. I get about 12 miles per gallon. It's good thing it's not my daily driver.

  • @yotalance

    Is that your stock Carb?

  • MPG?

  • there is always a way to intercool it... just alot of fabrication...

  • that is sick man where did u get the carb hat !

  • It cost about 1000. It is mostly used for snow wheeling. I can honestly say it feels like double the power

  • Hows the power difference feel? what is your rig used for? what were the total setup costs?

  • what type of carb u have ??? how much psi and dos it runn good thanks

  • yeah it could be set up, but it was not needed

  • Is there anyway to intercool this setup ?

  • she is pretty i have 86 model ive been wanting to hook a blowdryer to

  • Thanks. Wasn't sure if I could use one like that on a Weber need to get a Holley I guess

  • No I did not. I bought it through summit

  • Did u make that pressure plenium yourself

  • I am not sure. I haven't read up much about how the side drafts work. So, I couldn't tell you

  • Do you know if you can turbo side drafts ?

  • I haven't done anything yet to the internals. I did some research and found out that it could handle 10 psi before I would start having problems. The only problem I have at 10 pounds is my clutch. It can't hold on.

Later this summer I'm going to put low compression forged pistons and forged rods in it. Along with a mls (multi layer steel) head gasket, a port and polish job, and arp head studs. As well as a clutch haha. I'll be able to reliably boost 15 psi then.

  • It's a holley 500 cfm two barrel carb.

  • What did you have to do to the bottom end (forged pistons ? )( H beam rods )

  • is that a carb? if so what carb

  • All the info is on my other vid.

  • I was thinking about doing a blow through turbo on my 85 toyota pick. but not much info was on the net. tell me what you use?
