We Libertarians don't say there should be no gov't, those are called anarchist jack ass. but thanks for the slander Mr. Lynn. We think the role of gov't is to protect the individual liberties of each citizen. To enforce laws to protect property, life, etc. Just because we believe that gov't cannot have rights that we as individuals do not posses is not saying there should be no gov't.
