marcus miller in concert is completely different than in the recording so if you get a chance to get out and see him, get on top of that. this concert in particular changed my whole prespective on his sounds in a very good way.

Greetings all Millerheads! Could someone please let me know what song Marcus is quoting at the beginning of this tune. I am well aware that the tune is "panther" but I have been trying to learn this segment and thought the original tune would help. Sure sounds like Miles/Gil Evans era to me, but I need some backup on this one. Thanks!
