Tell me about it. He's stolen Michael Shaw from Penn State, Ricky Barnum from Florida, Roy Roundtree from Purdue, Martavious Odoms from West Virginia (karma baby), Quinton Washington from South Carolina, William Campbell from....well.....everybody, and now he's stolen Stokes from Tennessee. RichRod is not only a coaching genius, he's a recruiting genius as well.

yeah rich has got a knack for getting guys away from schools. I look forward to a couple years though. Stokes and Ricardo Miller are gonna beast it. Two legit WRs that can come in and make a difference early.

I feel you on that. I'm not entirely sure that Stokes and Ricardo Miller will see the field early in their careers, but when they do see the field, they will be stars. I also think it'll be interesting to see if Stokes ends up playing outside receiver or slot receiver. He could play either position depending on where we need him. I personally think he's going to play slot receiver next season simply because we are already jam-packed on the outside.

Right. I'll take your word on that. All the same, Michigan got a great player in Stokes. I was reading the mgoblog anylisis on Stokes today, and it's amazing how many all-star honors he got. Stokes is apparently Mario Manningham X 2. I thought for sure that Stokes would take a redshirt in 09, but with Gallon's SAT score in question and Stokes being this good, I think there's a good chance he sees PT at outside or slot receiver next season

Stokes is now officially OURS. I think this kid will ultimitely play slot receiver, but he can play outside receiver as well. he's versatile.

Stokes isn't a big wide receiver, but he's definitely a great talent. He looks like a clone of Mario Manningham. He probably won't play immediately like Manningham did, but he'll be a star whenever he ends up starting.
