we are on the exact same boat, my friend. i'm going to college this fall, and I'm looking at the 1201N right now, because the N450 is weaksauce.

That is windows xp .. not 7, but I have no doubt that win 7 would run well on it.

@danwat1234 Actually Win 7 runs well on netbooks, better than XP and it's always good to go with an extra 1gb ram.
