lol everyone arguing AWD vs RWD. Does anyone actually realize that to PROPERLY drift in RWD, you need a severely increased steering angle to be able to throw the car through the turns the way they should. Forza does not allow for the necessary increase, therefor you cannot properly drift. You can do good drifts, but not proper drifts. AWD allows for the increased angle, but again, not a proper drift.

@blown262 This may be true for Forza 3, but for Forza 4, if you have "simulation steering" turned on, then the steering speed is severely increased such that it is actually really easy to over-correct when counter steering, like you'll fly off the track. Give it a try and see if that will fit your RWD drifting etiquette lol

OK yeah I just checked the telemetry on forza and sure, you can't throw the steering wheel into the corners, but you can at least adjust steering caster or even get a racing wheel if you're that passionate about it. But you gotta admit that once you start drifting, then with steering simulation on you CAN throw the car into the next turn. (just btw if you think I was trolling.... lol no)

Sounds like a hater... but anyway I bought the thing for $700, bought a backhalf with adjustable 4link, lq9 block, fully built the internals, t56 (started with a 4lL70), fully adjustable Spohn tubular control arms with QA1 coilovers, 8 point cage, and Wilwood brakes for and still paid for less than a new motor would cost you to have installed. I'll plan on putting down 630-650lb/ft by the end of next season a twin screw. And still be under the $15k mark and pulling 10s.

Ease. It is the easiest vehicle with my knowledge and the best bang for the buck. Requires little mods to stuff the motor in, has a full frame (no unibody crap) the bed comes off with 8 bolts, allowing the full backhalf to be installed from the top no problem. And S10s are a dime a dozen. If I ever wreck this one, I can pull everything off and find another one with a blown motor for $500 and start over.

A noob can get like 30k on tsukuba in awd eaasy with NO tune just maxed out horesepower. A good RWD drifter can get 30k on tsukuba with a tune. AWD is easy as fuck and you know it, but its funny though because i can get more angle than you in a RWD car than you can in AWD.
