great work man, im actually working on a hallway for texas instruments right now and one of your work caught my eye, the hallway that you did is so cool man, is it possible for me to take a look at your settings there, not to copy it of course but to learn from it...thanks a bunch and more power man..
Every time I get frustrated by Mental Ray's instability, unpredictability and unreliability and go to youtube to give a chance to VRay yet another time, I always end up concluding that Vray is NOWHERE NEAR Mental Ray, when it comes to realism...something is simply lacking in Vray, I am not sure what, but it cannot be compared to Mental Ray realism IMO , all Vray renders so far I saw have that artificial feel, none of them is fully realistic, no matter how simple scene is.
@VEGETADTX but the fact of the matter is... you ARE wrong no matter what you think or say. All ya need is the right material and lighting and it bests mental ray 9 out of 10 times. this guys lighting is too bright and it needs adjustment.

I am absolutely aware that I might be wrong and I'd actually like to be, just as I said..but what gives you right to say that it's a FACT that I am wrong no matter what I think or say?
This is not something that can easily, precisely and scientifically be determined, its mostly subjective. I still honestly think that MR is more realistic just my op.
