hey silverado the jeep shown dows have a sttraight or commonly known as a live axe undr it front and rear however it use coil springs not leafs, unlike an indepentan front suspended junker like a chevy

For one thing, f-150 doesn't have a straight axle under the front and neither does that model of jeep shown.

Uh... I'm pretty damned sure that it's standard on :all: Jeeps to come D30/35 front and D35 rear. Straight axles all around, it's done for simplicity of design and makes it a hell of a lot cheaper to make. That, and Jeep (despite their modern lack of any) is known for their offroad prowess and you get no flex in an IFS setup.

Ford pickups aren't comparable with jeeps because they are different style products. Jeep is more geared toward off-roading while ford is for the masses. F-150 is a work truck and jeeps dont function as a pickup
