why has the search been abandoned??? I used google,dogpile,yahoo etc for two hours I can't find one recent article,thread,chat room,strange !!!as to a current search,I would gladly give a week of my vacation a year to search sq miles and start eliminating areas,his own website has no info!! people are still searching for amiela arheart but not for steve fosset????
i agree with wholelotofshakingoin until they find this cat i'm going to know aliens nabbed him up. govt. will probably stage a crash site after awhile for the same ol coverups.
just look how fragile a Bellanca Super Decathlon airplane is and than look at the terrain fossett was surveying ! if it plunged in a canyon nothing else than splintereens will be found (maybe)
depending on the time flown for the amount of fuel onboard a fire could have destroyed every trace
