Awesome! My feel is this - at transition when lower body reverses & wrists set bc thats the only freakin thing that they can do - the club doesnt reverse but continues moving the same direction - its hard to describe but for me it feels like breaking thru a strong resistance wall at the top of a hill & then pressure leaves bc im going down hill as the right elbow goes str8 to the ball - it definately feels like a big relief of tension is after the transition - a great analogy is your bow exam
Martin - I know that the first part of the swing is a continuous motion - If your willing to share - I wanted your take on the live tension (winding) of the forearms and how Abe talks about the lock at the transition by trying to touch the elbows. I know the motion is started with the left foot knee & hip but wanted your insight.
If the club is still going back and the arms are following the free swinging club...when the lower body changes direction the elbows will work toward each other. The continuous motion you want to feel is that the club is always going back until it gets below your hands in the downswing. At that point the inertia of the mass swinging is what's really driving the swing through....our body position and stability in balance either allows it to finish well or poorly.
Keep up the good work. Your left heel stays planted and Hogan's comes up just a touch although in the book he says that's irrelevant. More critical I think is to notice the subtle but important difference of the right heel on the downswing. Your right heel is off the ground before the club is horizontal to the ground on the downswing (16 secs). That amount of heel lift you have there is what Hogan had at impact indicating that you have stopped sliding into the ball and started turning.
Lovely swing, that's me saying it for like the 5th time :D hahh,
I like them shoes you;ve got on. I had three pares in one year but the double sole divide made the front edge brake in each pare. Comfiest and most styli-est you can get out there.

Your swing is a human slingshot - the release at the top (natural wrist set) is awesome

Close but no cigar - Hogan's left heel came off the ground on the backswing - yours stays flat throughout

Now we just need to get you a pack of Kent Kings, and and Ivy cap. Anyone can mimik a flat backswing but your move from top to impact is very nice.
