  • did that fuel tank selector move by itself?

  • Spectacular Aircraft but not the fastest single engine turboprop. Epic aircraft makes a carbon fiber aircraft that's faster.

  • Can't wait for a TPE-331 conversion...:)

  • Isn't the G1000 the world's most advanced commercial glass cockpit?

  • Impressive aircraft; impressive video. But why only 240p resolution?

  • Epic

  • This aircraft is amazing... and well powered as well! Share your videos and your experiences involving the PT6 engine with a community of PT6 fans, operators and pilots

  • what kind of engine is it a pt6?

  • Whats the year on the one being advertised?

  • Rather get citation mustang or eclipse 500

  • Really silly airplane for egomaniacs. Like a Ferrari, only more cramped and not as practical. Sure, it has high performance, but for $3M there are tons of better choices, new or used, no matter what your mission is.

  • i dont think this advert does justice to the plane. it is 3.5 million euros!!!

look at the advert for the pagani zonda and see if you think they sell their product better?

  • God how I want one...

  • i had the chance to meet this beautifull airplane when it came to MMUN, looks great, and makes a nice sound when in action.

  • planes are way too goddamn expensive

  • If you need to get somewhere fast with max 6 ppl, this is the way to go. Need max 10 ppl and good speed, and good range Pilatus is the way to go. I prefer Pilatus. But good job

  • I will own a TBM one day. I fly a Columbia now but When I have enough money I will get one! What a dream. I always wonder why Piper doesnt add some horse power and hit that 300kt mark. Any comments?

  • Excellent music. I've grown rather weary of the overused theme from "Top Gun".

  • what is the range for planes of this size? pretty neat plane

  • Website shows 1200 nautical miles at max cruise speed (340ktas) with reserves.

  • does any one know da name of dis song?

  • Finding Beauty, by Craig Armstrong

  • Does anybody know name of the music? Thx

  • I rode right seat in one of these today - a truly awesome airplane. Need to build a bit more time and get a couple more ratings before I'd be flying it myself though.

  • Impresive, I just love the 850, the video is from the official tbm 850 web site, but the music, wow, where you get the music, need to know please!

    Thanks

  • TBM850 has lost its title as worlds fastest single engine turboprop... Epic LT now has the crown... 350 KTAS at FL290... 11 minutes time to climb to FL280...

  • Epic is not certified ... therefore does not count...

  • One version of the Epic LT is certified, it's called the Epic Dynasty. max cruise 340ktas, economy cruise 288ktas.

  • The EPIC Dynasty is not certified yet. it is supposed to happen in 2009. Epic was to receive a huge capital infusion from Indian billionaire Vijay Mally to finance the certification of the Dynasty and the Elite. with the global economic meltdown that financing never materialized. EPIC Prrsident Rick Schrameck stated that EPIC detrimentally relied on Vijay's financing. EPIC continues to build experimental aircraft which is encouraging. But right now EPIC's certified aircraft are paper airplanes.

  • That was true but they went ahead with certification in Canada, due to it being faster and less expensive for them. FAA requires no further testing to fly in the U.S. The Dynasty is now certified.

  • They are in the process of certification. It can cost up to $200 Million dollars to certify an aircraft. It is faster and cheaper in Canada and reciprocal with the US as you stated. But there is not mention of the Dynasty having completed certification in any press release or company news update on the EPIC site. If they complete certification it will be a great accomplishment as it looks like a fantastic airplane.

  • this is an awesome plane, but for the prices you might as well get a citation mustang....although I'd love to fly both!

  • That's true.

But both planes fly at a very similar speed (respectively 320 et 340 kts I think), although the TBM is way less expensive to fly since there's only one engine, which is a turboprop instead of a turbine ..

  • yeah, that is true. But if you can afford either, most people would go with the citation, just for the prestege! or however it's spelled.

  • I would choose the TBM 850 because it's just like a jet but I think it's cooler and cheaper

  • @golfcharlie232 i dont think the difference is that great . cruise for tbm is 60 gph . cruise for citation is 68 gph. but i dont know about servicing costs etc.... turboprop has a turbine engine remember , they are not that different.

if they were called turbineprop it would avoid understandable confusion.

  • @golfcharlie232 "...which is a turboprop instead of a turbine .." Do you know of any turboprops that aren't turbines? By the way, right after the caption of "Integrated All-Glass Flightdeck, the video clearly shows a mechanical airspeed indicator, mechanical attitude indicator, and one more mechanical gauge, a good old fashion altimeter. So.... what do you mean by All-Glass?

  • @flattrackmile those are called BACKUP.

  • @fishercollin The problem with the VLJ's is that it's hard for them to reach their full profile. To reach their max cruise, they need to be up around 30-35K, but at those altitudes they will be with the larger commercial traffic which will be flying much faster, so ATC will more than likely ask you to fly at a lower altitude, thus not reaching the full profile and max cruise. In the TMB, full profile is reached at 28k, so you'll be below the commercial traffic and be just as fast as a VLJ.

  • damn...if only i had a couple mil laying around. the jeppview plates on the center mfd looked awesome

  • absolutly breath taking this plane is , does anyone know what the cieling and range is on this aircraft?

  • 31 thousand feet, range... idk maybe a thousands

  • I really love this plane !

    Range : 1410 nm at 320 ktas with 6 pax ...

Also, it flies at lower flight levels than most of the aircrafts use, and is certified for RVSM that decreases minimum vertical separation from 2000 to 1000ft.

  • and the cost?

  • A bit less then $3,000,000 ...

  • the best single engine turboprop

  • i'm agreed

  • Better than Pilatus PC12?

  • smaller, but way way faster ... depends on what you're looking for ...

  • @FuntanaBR we have the same problem PC12 or tbm850, speed i believe tbm is faster but pilatus is much more spacious

  • Omg I want one... I did have the pleasure of flying a 700c2 but i now want this one. great vid
