I have a onan Marquis 5500 that is the same way, The RPM's never change It's steady 1800 and runs everything in my RV, Only not anything close to this loud.

how long the run time of your generator ?
can you run it for 6 days without stop ?
I'm looking for small generator 1000watts is enough to me but I want to run the generator for a long time .
