147 GTA is pretty much stock. Just a KW2 suspensionkit and front strutbrace. And minor Squadra Tuning to 260hp. 330mm. brakes with Ferodo DS2500 pads.
The 156 is a 3.0 V6 with short 2.5 gearbox. At that time also with 330mm. standard GTA brakes and KW2 suspension. Since then it has changed a bit.
Just below 9 minutes would be the max for me in my street GTA. Going any faster would risk me crashing my beauty or wearing the suspension and brakes to much.
I'm in the 147 with the camera. As I do 200+ laps a year, taking the karusell "the right way" every time is not so exciting and I don't care about laptimes.
Plus, and this is most important for me, it is really bumpy. It's murder on your dampers and bushes. So to keep this hobby affordable, I usually take it on the outside. Especially with my GTA, in the 156 it's about 50/50.
Karussell is fun if you do it 10 times a year, after that it's just a lousy pice of track.

hmm looks like quiet much understeering for kw2 and strutbar... think q2 or another mechanical differential lock would be the best resolution...
was the 3.0 available in the 156?? thought only 2.5 or 3.2gta...
8:30btg are not to slow for a street-fwd car... good driving skills required :-)
where are you guys from? netherlands? if youre so often at the nürburgring next time i'll have a look for a black 147gta with yellow numberplates ;-)

Nope, engine is from a 166, fits perfectly, just needs a remap. And with the Q2 diff its even better then the GTA.
We were there very often in 2008 en 2009, so far in 2009, no laps. Perhaps beginning of May.
The GTA isn't there to often, 99% of the time I'm there with the 156. (or the T5 ;-)
What car do you drive? Perhaps we have met during coffee at Breidscheid?

i drive an alfa 145... not proper for the ring :-(
this year the most time i'll be there with an white modified bmw e36 325.
