I never bought a "I POD" or a IPHONE" G1 does both jobs, I copy songs off my comp and put it to my G1 fast and free.

i don't see a reason to compare the G1 and iphone... the average consumer doesn't have a choice, since most people don't switch carriers frequently. the g1 is far superior to ANY t-mo phone, and i'm locked into t-mo for a while.

i love my g1, but i don't claim that it's better than the iphone. people posting IPHONE FTW are just losers with nothing better to do.

I agree, I own an iphone and love it, but I dont understand these comments like iphone copyrights the touch screen concept. Every phone has pro's and con's, and im sure this phone is cheaper to own than the iphone. It looks nice, as does the new blackberry. So if people are in a search for a phone i say go look at these 3 in each respective store then decide, because asking people will prob get you a very favoritism like response

I mess around with this google phone and the screen and icons are way smaller than the iphone. The touch is not as responsive. I think ill pass...

All the peeps saying iphone is better are fkn HATERS Cause they spent $400 bucks for one just because it has more 8gigs of memory, googles not going to make you buy a whole new G1 for more memory just buy more sticks = UNLIMITED memory, Oh and dont say "but u have to carry them with you" PLEASE they dont weigh anything..

My friend, it is not the issue of weight but inconvenience but I do see your point. Not many people wanna carry around alot of memory cards, and run the chance of losing them. For the average consumer, 8g is enough, thats why all these phones, Blackberry storm, Google g1, Apple Iphone, come in package 8g. Apple is the only one of those 3 for example, that cannot be ugraded for space. So if that is a selling point, dont even look at an iphone. I personally use a ipod too, so space isnt an issue
