Interesting. It seems as though Kudlow has some contempt for Schiff. I don't know what Larry is denying...he is always bullish on the economy (and was, just like everyone else, before the financial crisis came to its fruition). Hell, he still talks about King Dollar, and utilizes any figures he can to "show" that the economy is headed for growth.

i have heard some of the same things from the other candidates but i don't think they really have a plan to bring jobs back to the private sector. The biggest obstacle for Peter now, is if the other candidates start saying more of the things Peter says, then it will be MUCH harder to distinguish himself among them. But if he sticks to his guns he should come out on top. we all know he's the most qualified person to send to washington, but most of the voters in CT have probably never heard of him

Kudlow is afraid to debate Schiff. Usually when people come to the Kudlow show saying the economy is not improving Kudlow always gives his counter-argument that the economy IS improving. But when Peter comes on calling him out Kudlow denies he was a stock cheerleader. He knows if he debates Peter he will get school so he had to resort to lying....what a coward.

I have to say, I was disappointed with Peter in this interview. He is sounding too wishy washy. I think Kudlow makes a good point that he just sounds like the other two, and gave him an opening to say what legislation he would introduce. Why Peter is afraid to say something like, "introduce legislation to have the government dump GM, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac" is beyond me.

Spideynw. Peter's not about introducing - he's about reducing and that's what he's talking about all through this interview. I know it's not your typical political speech like you're use to hearing: "we're going to do this and that and pay for everything but the kitchen sink in order to fix this thing that we don't know anything about."

He's saying we need to stop all interference with the market. Not just one thing - it's all the interference and any reducing is a good start.

The US has a separation of Church and State (or at least it's supposed to) but it also needs a separation of Business and State and the only ways to go about that is to a) enact a separation of Economy and State or b) the abolition of the State.

I don't mind Schiff or his beliefs, but a central bank is not bad if the population actually understands how it works. The biggest problem with it is the lack of education, and that unfairly takes away purchasing power from people who don't understand, or have the means to hedge.
