It's laughable that a Ron Paul supporter would claim that Tom Tancredo doesn't talk about his own issues. Tom Tancredo has been talking about illegal immigration since he began serving in Congress in 1999. Ron Paul voted in favor of Section 245(i) amnesty in for illegal aliens in 2001 and 2002. Tom Tancredo voted against Section 235(i) amnesty each time.

Huckabee sounds soft on illegals here.

He may be saying to seal the borders first but it is NOT said with much conviction nor determination.

Huckabee is also open to providing a pathway to citizenship in the long run for those who entered illegally. He talks about restitution and paying back taxes and going back first - like that's ever going to happen.

He should be coming up with a plan on how to deport them and discourage more of the same.

NumbersUSA dot com lists the immigration-related votes of all members of Congress. It lists Ron Paul as having supported Section 245(i) amnesty for illegal aliens in 1997, 2001 and 2002. Section 245(i) amnesty would have given amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens. Presidnet George W. Bush supported 245(i) amnesty in 2001 and 2002 along with Ron Paul.
