However, I don't think they are the only problem and responsible for all the consequences that would have to be dealt with in terms of Islamification as well as other areas. I don't see anything positive from Islam that the West can learn from. Race is an important factor for individual and group identity. However, I have other videos explaining part of that and it is a whole other subject. Britain brought technological and some better legal systems than was in those places before. There was also investment from industrialized Britain in those places. The Americas, Africa, and parts of Asian benefited materially by coming into contact with UK.

There is no positive utility of mass migration to Europe in respect to libertarianism. It just means more Islam, more state invention in the economy, vast far right social policy, ethnic conflict/segregation, a more crowded island, etc. Worker Visas or outsourcing is preferable to citizenship. Catholicism has been largely secularized and Westernized and is dying in the West. Islam is on the rise mostly because of mass migration. It is the long term threat and it is better to get it before it gets bigger and stronger. As for immigration I have already answered that in my immmigration series and in a comment here. I am a consequentialist libertarian and more Islam=/more libertarianism and they are a threat with future demographics.

@IndividualAutonomy There aren't any Mounties in Europe (or Britain). As for 'Muslim' immigration into Britain, Muslims take up under 4 % of the population currently- nothing to get excited about. There was a birth growth several years ago, but it's slowing down because overall birthrate of integrated Muslim Brits is starting to mirror other non Muslim Brits. Overall immigration is also being controlled more tightly with a new Govt. I don't think you can be claiming Britainistan just yet ;-)

That's just a smaller proportion of the total, in fact most comes from EU countries. The Muslim population in Britain did grow significantly from 2001 to now (about 1.5%), however their birth rate is now trending a decline against the national average. Predicting these trends over a long period is often inaccurate because circumstances change over time.

Muslim birth rate's been slowly declining towards the national average, yet currently still high enough to produce notable growth. Partly because Muslims coming here over time are starting to adopt the same birth rate patterns as other Brits. 'Attempts' at 'Islamisation' don't relate to majority mainstream British Muslims. It's a very minor sector, not worth worrying about.

Attempts at Isalmization are at least 40% of British Muslims. That is not minor or mainstream and is certainly something worth worrying about, especially no go areas for white non Muslim British are in place already. You're using a 2006 Telegraph article (at the height of the Iraq war- things have calmed down since), from a survey of 500 British Muslims, where 40% say they'd like to use Sharia Law for certain legal issues. These relate to using Sharia when it's compliant with British law- like divorce or business. It doesn't relate to certain interpretations of Sharia you get in places like Saudi. It's already been implemented, but it's voluntary. We have the same for Talmudic law.
