You can't compare the final "art" to gamabunta. Gamabunta is a sentient summon, which was summoned to fight Manda/kyuubi to match their size. And then, Gamabunta didn't actually fight the 9tails, 4th hokage almost immedietly sealed it.
to me out of the whole Akatsuki teams Deidara and Sasori team would be the weakest then Hidan and Kakuzu next would be Itachi and Kisame adn last would be Pain and Konan but dont get me wrong Deidara is strong but your over thinking his true power he is most likely 5th or 4th strongest out of all of the Akatsuki i would find Zetsu 2nd or 3rd cause he knows all of their weak points and the 1st going to Madara

And EVEN then deidara has homing attacks. He can use the garuda without worrying about his partner, because sasori is a puppet. The only thing deidara has to watch out for is the third kazekage puppet's iron attacks.
So yeah, deidara doesn't have to care about Sasori, and he can fall back/take on Hidan/Kakuza/one of kakuza's puppets by himself.
Sasori can go all out with his puppets really, and even if deidara got caught in the crossfire he wouldn't care.
draw blood from sasori, and deidara is far too mobile for him to get alone. Hidan is the slowest akatsuki member, and I doubt he'd be able to draw blood from deidara either. Hidan is pretty much useless in this fight.
Kakuza has an ok chance, his masks may or may not have been fully shown in the fight in the forest. When he releases them, the fight becauses 6 vs 2 pretty much, with 5 chakra types. But then if Sasori uses his final technique, it's 102 vs 6....

this guy was pretty strong but you have a few things wrong... tobi defeated the tailed beast byhimself, and when he fought gaara yes he won but not easily, he did lose an arm, and no he wasnt low on chakra because it takes a long time to seal the tailed beast so when he fought kakashi and naruto he should of been well rested... yeah his last jutsu was big but idk if its in comparason with the kyubi... after all we dont know how strong the kyubi really is since we really never seen its full power

this guy was pretty strong but you have a few things wrong... tobi defeated the tailed beast byhimself, and when he fought gaara yes he won but not easily, he did lose an arm, and no he wasnt low on chakra because it takes a long time to seal the tailed beast so when he fought kakashi and naruto he should of been well rested... yeah his last jutsu was big but idk if its in comparason with the kyubi... after all we dont know how strong the kyubi really is since we really never seen its full power

hmm all akatsuki r obviously strong true, u do have a good point, but we have to remember that deidara had to capture gaara alive,which is much harder than just killing him, in some strange way i believe deidara "let" himself get his arm ripped off just so he could contaminate gaaras sand with his clay,very clever of him but i agree with u on his explosives in comparison with the fox,a large power we've seen was naruto at 4 tails,and thats probably not even 25% of the fox's true power lol

oh yeah?! but Gaara was defending his village too. so he could not spend all of his chakra to stop Deidara. he was thinking how to save the village from Deidaras attacks and spend a lot of chakra to do so.

from the beginning of ur comment it sounds like i upset u and im sorry for that lol,im just saying wat i saw with my own 2 eyes, usually in anime whenever they introduce a new character (and is also a fighter) usually ends up owning at first just to give a good impression of the guy, gaara did put up a good fight but even if deidara was a new character gaara still put up a good fight.But really i think i wouldve done the same cuz deidara was fighting a jinchuriki so he couldnt take any chances

deidara is somewhat good but i dont see him as a very stron ninja... ALL of his moves depend upon explosives... if any ninja found out a wy to counteract that they could hav easily taken him down. As for the fact that it took itachi kisame and sasori to get him.. i think its because itachi wuz originally the 1 sent to recruit him but seeing as how he was sasoris partner he followed and and akatsuki always travel in there groups so kisame followed as well

oh please, for a person who thinks Sasuke is overrated you sure give a lot of credit to deidara. If deidara had to use two of his most powerful techniques to destroy sasuke what does that tell you about his level of ability compared to sasuke's. on top of that he still died and sasuke won. Furthermore that self destruction technique is nothing compared to 4tail naruto's chakra blast. Orochimaru had to summon 3 huge walls and the justsu still connected.

Deidara was the weakest of the Akatsuki. So what if he was a terrorist bomber. In the early days of Naruto there was a man named Gennou who set thousands of explosive tags in Konoha just to reinvent treasure hunting. Now that is crazy. On top of that the reason Sasori went was because Orochimaru, who was his partner, had just broke away from the group. Sasori needed to see what could be expected out of Deidara. Furthermore if Deidara was so strong why did he refer to Sasori as master?

anyways the only thing i think you said that was "wrong" was when deidara put those little bombs in sasuke, im pretty sure sasuke used a genjutsu too get out of it...or tehqniqly it never happened because i remember once we saw sasukes body dissapear in explosions the big sharingon genjutsu was behind deidara then sasuke punched him in the face....but everything else i agree 100% with

well....deidara's body doesnt really exist anymore so that option really is out...but i guess pein can still get hidan back...but he'd be alive -.-... can't get kakuzu since konoha has his body...sasori isnt really a person unless pein wants a REAL puppet..i guess he could use itachi that'd be cool
