Beautiful song but wish they had removed the "helpless babe" part from the beginning. Being Fully God Fully Man with all His Angels worshiping Jesus as a child shows that The LORD of Glory is far from helpless.
@1integrity for me "helpless babe" means He came to earth, stripped of all powers to reach out to the poor, the marginalized, those who hunger for the love of God.....he could have call down all the angels and used His powers as the Creator....but He chose not to do that since he wants to love us and brings us closer to Him, even by doing the ultimate sacrifice......He even lived like a normal kid, a son of a carpenter before He grew up and begins his ministry...that's MHO though....God Bless:)
