@SuperSpiritDove She like many catholic saint was originally a goddess which the pagan ppl refused to give up, so the church made her a saints to get converts. The Irish were strong enough to keep most of their gods and traditions this way!

Thank you; Imbolc, I'm ashamed to say, is one Sabbat I've neglected as I"m usually just recovering from Yule and my anniversary is on Valentine's Day. But, this year I'm making an extra effort and your informative video is just the thing to help get me started. Blessed Be to you and yours on this charming & sweet Sabbat [and to everyone else who reads this comment]. b/b)O(
Merlin the wizard heir to the kingdom of albion Albiones or located in northern Spain between Asturias and the Basque Country and Navarra, as the legends of Ireland and Scotland in the book of "invasions." Great Video! Just wanted to add that Brighid's name is no longer thought to mean 'fiery arrow'. Instead, it is believed to mean 'Exalted'. Brighid was connected to 'high' places, thus 'high' also meaning 'holy'.
That was definitely interesting information. I just love all things Irish, including some of it's religious history. I'm going to visit Ireland someday!
You are very beautiful!

With a gem at thy heart and a crown on thy head
Awaken the fire within our souls
Awaken the fire that makes us whole

The Christians turned Brighid into a saint , she was originally a Goddess! Pagans worldwide celebrate this festival.
