OK, you said Melo "balls", which im assuming means he's a better player than Lebron and that he isn't as selfish like Lebron. Alright, now lets look at the statistics before we just say things that come up to our mind. Melo's career averages are: 24.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3.1 apg, and shoots a 45.9 fg percentage. Those are not bad statistics at all. Alright, now lets see Lebron's statistics: 27.7 ppg, 7.0 apg, 7.1 rpg, and shoots a 47.9 field goal percentage.Lebronisthebetterplayer
@dwade623: Stats give a short sighted view of a player: Lebron put up stats but loses games. Why? It's a team sport, not a one man show. If the best player has a bad night-the team should still be able to carry a win. He gets passive in important games especially forth quarters. He gets predictable- at the buzzer he always drives left for a layup over 5 defenders who saw him coming from beyond the 3 point line. How can you be with a team for so long and after u leave the team can barely win.
Lebron puts up stats and also wins. Just because he doesn't have a ring doesn't mean he isn't successful during the season. Lebron basically carried Cleveland during his time there, you can see their result with him gone. People tend to forget what Lebron did before the finals. When he shut down the team the Knicks (melo) failed to. Then he defeated the MVP Bulls. Melo doesn't play a lick of defense. He barely did shit with a better supporting cast in Denver.
So my boy ddeennmmllaa just told me how he started dunking, he s not even as tall as me but jumps over 9 inches higher! What he followed the workout over at "50inch vertical (dot) com" and gained over 16 inches in his vertical leap!
ddeennmmllaa I'm 5 9 and I am able to reverse 180 dunks. Truthfully, anyone can do it, just workout the right way. I personally used the program at | 50 inch vertical(dot)com | but any program could be followed if you are sure they generate results
Carmelo Anthony 30 Pts Against Utah Jazz Opening Night at Denver Colorado October 27, 2009
What are you talking about? I've seen every Nuggets and Syracuse game with Carmelo and and I have no doubt that he CAN rebound more than he does now. That man is so athletic but all he does is dribble, dribble, and dribble. You gotta be kidding me. My favorite player is Kobe Bryant but I'm not even biased towards Melo. I just read all the comments you've posted on other videos, and you're biased kid. Get Melo's cock off your mind, because you're not thinking.
no. you said "Also, like LeBron, he is taking too many dribbles" thats basically saying he needs to stop dribbling, which also is saying that dribbling is effecting other aspects of his game. how can dribbling effect other aspects of his game??
It doesn't affect the individual necassarily but as a team, yes it does. When you dribble, you want to get the ball moving. Melo does not get anwhere. If you have season league pass, which I do, and watch every Nuggets, Lakers, Cavaliers, then you will begin to see how LeBron and Melo is wasting time and decreasing the time to set up a effective play. Ever heard of triangle offense? Well, that play requires extremely little dribbling. Melo would never be able to complete such a play.
both mike brown and george karl arent those type of coaches. they use the playmakers of their teams, and their stats testify to this. i would like to see melo move without the ball more as well. how can u say carmelo couldnt play this way when uve never seen him try ?? before phil jackson came to the bulls michael jordan hadled the rock more as well
I've seen Carmelo play for Oak Hill Academy and then for Syracuse, and I could say he is a prolific scorer. I've seen optimistic coaches and players who have or at least attempted adapt to new plays and new strategies. Melo has never tried to include his teammates like the other great players in the league. Melo is not playmaker, as you mentioned, and therefore he attempts to creates shots for HIMSELF. Dribbling is his number one tool to do this. Jordan never wasted time by dribbling to nowhere.
i still dont understand this taking to many dribbles nonsense. wtf hes a playmaker. thats what they do. as a matter of fact, he should be allowed to dribble the ball more, because hes an adept facilitator. wtf jordan dribbled all the time. dude u make no sense. no offense but it really sounds like u kno nothing about basketball
Talk to a NCAA basketball player, regardless of division. You're just supporting Melo way too much. I have heard so many analysts criticize Melo for being lazy or dribbling too much, so I know I'm not saying non-sense.
This is undoubtely Carmelo Anthony's best season. I can honestly say he's improved over the years. But he's still got to develop a "pass first" mentality. It is important especially how a valuable player such as Melo can end up in different teams with different coaches, with different play styles. It is important that he becomes optimistic and flexible.
I dont listen to much Tupac, but Lil Wayne used this exact beat/instrumental on his Dedication 2 mixtape. Its called "Weezy's Ambition" and it a hidden track after "Georgia... Bush"
Kobe is my favorite player. Lebron is the future and Wade is just as good as those 3. The way Melo is playing he belong in that top 5 best players list. This year so far he's a problem and none of those guys can guard him.
This guy has BEEN a problem for years. I date this all the way back to the year he got hurt and was averaging 29 a game. Simply put Melo is the BEST Natural scorer in the game, He can score on the break, in traffic, take you off the dribble, and knock down a shot in your face, knock down the three and make it look so easy, like he isn't even breaking a sweat out there.
