Honestly, out of everybody Iced Earth could have selected - this is the guy they need. He has such a diverse voice and he is ideal for filling the shoes left by Barlow.

Tim's problem never has been his ability to hit high falsetto notes. Tim's problem is the fact that he plainly doesn't know what to deliver and when in a song, he's technically a pretty good singer, he's just very artistically flawed.
The downtuning was always about bringing his voice down to a more gutteral delivery, he sounds pretty damn clean on high full voice stuff (not reinforced falsetto screams).
His problem is that he is a very annoying singer much of the time. :-)
am i the only one who thinks it not very fitting with such screams for Iced Earth? I mean, his clean and airraid stuff sounds killer, but the scream/growl thing, I find it just.. not Iced Earth...
@belrandir chances are they won't use them. Apparently he has a decent middle register as well. Also keep in mind his growls sound quite bad because he's like... in his basement...

I'll be quite honest, I'd love it if Stu used his screaming/growling with Iced Earth. i would kill to have this guys voice, but there wasnt much of a lesson, he just did it, instead of showing what he was doing, still i freaking love his voice, i hate screaming tho, but this band is the one band that screams that i can never get enough of
