Yeh, you should be able to just play 4 player co-op locally or online if you have an xbox, obviously only online if you have the pc version.

i have to say that valve never disapoints =] i cant say that they should have added some over things but overall this game is kickass

Hrmm they have disappointed me in the amount of time they are taking to make episode 3 and for that matter all the other episodes. But im sure when it comes out it will have been worth the wait.

i just got the lfd special edition version whats the difference between the normal version and this one?

Basically nothing. This is just valves way of packaging the survival pack and making money on it. If you had already purchased L4D you got the update free. However if you have not this is what you have to buy, except on the PC i believe you can still get the regular L4D game with the free upgrade.

I dont think they both need to be GOTY editions. This release was just valves way of trying to milk more money from l4d. As noted by 2346, there is no real upgrade value if you already purchased the game, however if you haven't bought it they are going to force you to pay full price for this.

I just got the GOTY edition and it looks like a halo CE graphics!! the walls are white and all the rooms are bright!!

everbody else on my team see's darkness and needs a flashlight but i dont because i see the room lit up? WTF?

another thing is that is laggs a lot!!

i dnno about the 360 version but the pc version gets survival mode free from the patch so rly no ponit of the game of the year edition cause u automatically get it through an update
