I just discovered this show last week on TNT. I realize its unfair to compare it to The Shield (my all time favorite cop drama), but I like it for a lot of the same reasons. Be that as it may, Southland is a great show!

I loved this show, hope they bring it back, my son is a Cop and it shows the "human" side of the badge pretty well here... I think Officer John is SO HOT too, looks almost exactly like my ex fiance, they could be "twins"... and they young officer reminds me so much of my son... MY HERO!

Well, because the guy in the cuffs had a gun and started shooting one of the other officers. Although it was that officer's own fault because he didn't let Ben search the guy as soon as he was cuffed.

yep, my friend and fellow officer Robert Stanze, St.Louis PD was shot killed by a guy that was in cuffs and in the back of a squad car.. Rob was standing outside the car and the round went into his ribs between the vest plates.... these things really do happen

Couldn't you figure out how to get the aspect ratio right on this clip? It needs to be widescreen (no black bars on the left and right side). The way you have it now, everyone's faces are distorted and too skinny. It looks STUPID and like you don't know how to prepare video. Which I guess you don't, since you squished the video.
