Wish I could have afforded one of these, but live in the states import tax sucks! Anyway settled for a peavey classic slapped an mxr 10 band in front of it and its close but the LC has more gain but that's nothing a TS can't fix, cool dreamy soundin riffs there.

ive recently bought an all valve LC30 and changed the stock speaker to a jensen and replaced with jj tesla valves!

@BOULDERDP Maybe try the lionheart range. Two channel vintage style amp with spring reverb, available as a 5 watt combo or 20 watt head.

i was lucky enough to purchase one of these amps recently, with what i believe

to be the original fane speakers. a lovely amp, great cleans and a lovely tremelo and reverb unit too!

if you have any info on these amps, it would be gr8 to hear from you.

i have a laney pro tube half stack AOR series, i think it was made around 1986 or 1987, how much do you think its worth? there no scratches and nothings wrong with it.

the new lc30s have el84 power valves, and i wondered if your vintage lc30 has them, too. sounds very tubey between 0:55 - 1:07

do you think about replacing the speaker?

its a solidstate mate no tubes,plus i have since old it and bought a mark 1 LC30 its fantastic

I believe it. SS sounds nice on the first 3 strings. pluck the bass strings and sounds like a hive full of bees. listen at :48 for a good example.
