  • Nice man! That CBR with a Vance and Hines is a familiar sound. How is your bike doing? I got my painting video up now.

  • Beutiful sound! The F3's full tilt are beutiful, they sure don't build engines so raw and mechanical sounding as they used to.

What kinda tires are you running on that F3? If it's breaking loose leaving corners you may either need a little less tire pressure or some better rubber under you. High sides suck, been there done that.

Or, option 2, have you setup your suspension? The CBR series tends to be dialed in way too tight in the rear for the street.

I could hear it break traction...

  • It's been geared for more torque and acceleration for wheelies so I have a little extra power to the ground and that's why it did it. If I quick shift on warm tires the front will come up off the ground through the first 3 gears when I'm on it.

Sounds like improper suspension setup, more so that the damping and preload are as setup for wheelies as the gearing is. My bro's CBR could wheelie but the F3 really is a shitty bike for that sort of thing and it takes a radical setup on the gearing and suspension to just be picking them up off of gear changes regardless of how your shifting.

Plenty of shops offer suspension setup classes, they are more than worth signing up for and spending an evening learning about it.
