"Why have we continued to behave as if gas and oil and coal werre forever - that they would never run out?" Why haven't more politicians asked this question? They are clueless - cognitive dissodence - or are just afraid to face the truth?
Google Tesla Motors and Phoenix Electric Vehicles. Mass production of electric vehicles could again make the United States a world leader that manufactures something that is good for our environment and our economy. An added benefit of electric vehicle production is more jobs, improving air quality, and decreasing our dependence on foreign oil.
Congressman Barlett in an American hero, a leader of vision representing the very best of whom we need in Washinton, unfortunately, he is rather lonely in his campaign to raise awareness, planning and action on this, the BIGGEST THREAT TO AMERICA AND THE WORLD CIVILIZATION. My big fear in the scenario now unfolding is economics before actual scarcity, we now spend 720 billion a year to import 70% of our oil (adds into trade deficit, driving dollar down) soon we will be unable to purchase oil

20 000 may be enough.
One trillion barrels equals roughtly 150.000 nuclear reactors working for a year.
