I posted a video response! This guy's video guide helped me build my first computer exactly a year ago & I met him yesterday at Golf Land! LOL. Totally random!
Well...you have helped me with how to build a computer...but what about the difference between OEM and retail parts. How about installing the OS...and the drivers...sure I can piece everything together but I'm not sure how the process of installing software works with a brand new hand built computer.
OEM products only come with the thing you buy. E.g. if you buy a hard drive an OEM product will give you only the hard drive while a retail product will give you cables etc.
Great job man! This is one of the best how to build a computer tutorials I have ever seen. Great job on getting great close ups to most of the connectors. I'm going to build one myself in about a month or so when I have some more spare time. I'll save at least $1000 bucks in building it on my own.
Disliked.

im training to b a comp engineer myself
i would say a good video
BUT
you have to worry about ESD- Electroststic Discharge
if you dont use a wrist wrap
it can blow up your cpu ram and motherboard

it's unlikely.
But you can still discharge yourself of static electricity by touching a non painted metal panel of the case, or best - the PSU.

Works the same way as installing on any computer! OEM means no packaging or instructions or support - Retail, you usually get all of those.
