From dead-on it looks like a S4 Esprit, the rear is very lamborghini-ish, from the side the front profile is VERY Diablo-ish.

I wouldn't kick it out of bed, but i wish they had done something truly unique instead.

The Cizeta blueprint was the original design for the new Lamborghini model, replacing the Countach.

However before the car was taken into production Chrysler, the new owner of Lamborghini cancelled these plans, redesigned the car into what we now know as a Diablo.

So the car Lamborghini intended to build is the Cizeta :D

Its a superb car. Designed by Gandini who later designed the Diablo. A V16 which was two flat-plane-crank V8's on a centrally geared crank way ahead on any W16 engine. A unique sound and unique car. You can still have one built to order I believe including a convertible.

This car was designed before the Lambo. Diablo. The Cizeta was born from a collaboration of Giorgio Moroder ( one of the greatest songwriters of our time) and a few top Italian designers. The company never took off and the design was either sold to or adopted by Lambo. I find the Cizeta Moroder to be a lot more elegant and pure than the diablo.
