I dont understand why people say Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles are the same game. So what if S&K is an expansion, it is its own cartridge and should be called its own game. Doomsday is S&K not Sonic 3.

@KokiriKitty Sonic 3 was under time constraints and had to be released early.therefore it wasn't finished.After some time they finished it and they didn't want to call it sonic 3 part 2,so they called it sonic and knuckles.So with that sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles was supposed to be one big game,but time constraints made it two games

i have to disagree with you. sonic cd's usa soundtrack was pretty beast. the boss theme and the bad future themes paints robotnik's image in a completely different light. the music makes him seem much more terrifying and dangerous. i only wish the boss fights themselves were more challenging. oh well can't have everything. by the way i wasn't knocking your choices for your list, i just wanted to put in my two cents about the usa soundtrack of sonic cd

Levels that require all Chaos Emeralds to enter are classed as Extra Especially in the older games but even as late as Sonic Rush (& Rush Adventure) The final zone is actully called, and I quote, "Extra zone"

I like Sonic and knuckles final boss theme ( not dooms day which us great too) the 2nd to last theme in this video was pretty good what game was that one from? I think the normal robotnik themes from sonic 2 and 3&k should make a return even if remixed slightly. They are robotniks best themes IMO.
