How to tie a Perfect Stonefly Nymph

what kind of hook are you using? I don't typically see them with the hump. Did you just take pliers to it?

@tonyidaho hello tonyidaho, i like to use a daiichi 1730 - #8 or #6, that is the hook of choice... but you can most certainly take a straight shank hook and bend it, i have done it many times! ~ mt
