i have been searching for this song for so long / i had it on a 45. i'm 62 and it was my favorite in 71. i love it. it;'s like finding an old friend. thank you a thousand times
I have been searching amazon.com for this recording on CD. No luck, so I wrote A&M and they told me I could find it it I looked it up on google. That was my Ah HA moment!!! I used to play this song over and over in 1971. Thanks so much, no one ever heard of this song, and I knew I wasn't crazy.
When we were teenagers me and my gang used to get drunk and play this song a girl we hung out with named Shirley would start to cry and sing this joint just like Sisters Love ............ Seems like yesterday til you remind yourself that we are all 50 somthing now!
I am 57 years old and when I was 18 in 1971, this was one of my favorite songs. I went to a club in Nashville where I heard it numerous times. Brings back a lot of memories!! I also like "And This Is Love" by Sisters Love, as well, but cannot find it anywhere. I still have the 45's from that era!
I've been looking for this song for sooooo long I think I was about 15 when I first heard it and I didn't know the name I would ask the radio stations who song it and they didn't know. I know it is destiny that I found it thank you very much whom so ever put it on you tube.
This song is so very deep and moving and just like blkjancd said i've be trying to track it down for a long time i'm very greatful to you for posting it.God that raw emotion she throws out there is just too too much you have got to love it.
also the first time i heard this song they were live at a placed in houston called the continental show case also on the bill were the Bar Kays and Johnny Taylor
i am 57 and i have never found this song ANYWHERE, i have called the local radio stations , they never heard of it. thanks so much for putting it on you tube
