@warkeeper23 you'd need to play the game to understand. but in short: there was an ever growing resistance group in germany opposing the nazi rule and eventually overthrowing the nazis and killing the Führer. the war was supposed to end by then but Stalin betrayed the allies and launched a large scale assault against them. the new nazi-liberated germany then joined in with the allies to fight the Stalin and the soviets.

@Ninelon General Hart was apart of the German resistance and when the Allies killed the Chancellor, Hart was put in charge of Germany.
