The Pre and WebOS had so much potential. I remember watching the keynote in 09 thinking "Damn, this is going to kick some serious ass" and planned on getting a Pre. Now, I'm waiting for my Droid Incredible to come in the mail. Hopefully HP will run Palm better than Palm. I still think the Pre (Plus) is the sexiest phone ever made.

Well its got some nice features. It will be interesting how the 3rd party apps will take off. Also if it will start to become choppy when running multiple apps. I was hoping iPhone 3.0 would introduce some of these features. Good job Palm. Nothing wrong with a little competition with the iPhone.

wow... great phone. I like the new OS (webOS) and all the stuff it can do. The real keyboard and the removable battery are awesome. The problem is that iPhone's got a very loyal following that won't go away anytime soon. This may stop the outflow of subscribers from Sprint in the short term but won't bring folks in from ATT or Verizon. That's the truth. I wish it weren't because I like both Palm and Sprint but I think this is a little too late.

Sprint rips people off trust me on this I was with them for 2 very long years and I hated it every second of the time. They always said I went over my minds when I NEVER did they always put B.S changes on my bill and when I called the C.S lady at sprint she was so rude to say that if the bill says you made them that means you did and have to pay all of your bill without even listing to my story so now Iam with Verzion and for the most part am happy with them.

my mom called weeks ago, and got $70 cut on our current balance. She just told the CR that our bill is a bit high, and they cut it. I don't know how they cut it but it contradicts what you say that they tell you to pay all your bill.

Sprint's CS is great, they always help us, and not to mention Sprint is cheaper than AT&T and Verizon

I agree to disagree because when I was with sprint my bill was NEVER right and they made a point to put bogus charges on my bill and the CS was the worst I have ever seen vs ANY OTHER company.

The person at the Sprint store told me that the first month of power vision was going to free and I could use it as much as I wanted too and when I got the first bill and was over $800 of PV and when I called CS the lady was so rude to say to me that if its on my bill that means I have to pay it.

I had to wait for over an hour just to talk with someone at CS at Sprint and then when a live voice said hello the call was lost so I had to call back and wait for a hour or more again. Thats not good CS.

I am now with Verizon and I have never been more happy and I am paying atleast $50 less then I did when I was with Sprint and the bill is ALWAYS right and I NEVER have to wait any longer the 5 mins when I call CS to talk to someone.

I work for Sprint, although I am in Canada. Bell Mobility is also releasing the Palm Pre. Dot not know the date of release, but they are getting it.

So if your thinking about canceling your Sprint account, you should really consider the Palm Pre. Lol.. I feel bad when people say they want to go to AT&T. check the fine print on the commercials for AT&T it says "the best international service" so how great is the service in The US? not very good.

The Palm Pre will be released by Sprint June 6th. It's a very user friendly device. Runs on WebOS which is it's very own operating system. Personally the best feature coming from me would be that anywhere there is a Wi-fi connections you can connect at high speeds & not a mobile browser you can view full web pages as you see them on the computer. Basically it's a Pocket Laptop, & going to blow the iphone away.

Sprint releases the Palm Pre June 6th, I just had training on the device last night. Call in on the 6th or go to a store on the 6th because I have probably 5 calls out of 40 A day from sprint customers who want to get the Pre. Order as soon as possible if you want this phone.

This is an awesome UI with some out-of-today's-world features. synergy, dashboard, the live deck of cards and that gesture pad simply blew me away.

is it too much to ask for an on screen keyboard as well? just for people who dont want to punch in those keys, you know. Also, somehow I get the feeling of getting lost and searching for options that dont pop up (or slide out) automatically. plus, what are the games, how does you tube look on the pre.

That Synergy thing would get confusing for those without a Pre. When you ask a question, or send a message via one set of means, you'd expect to have the response via the same means, imo. Having the conversation in one place on the Pre is fine, but if the person you're talking to, is using email, Facebook, SMS, ect, then they'd get totally confused, lol.

As I said, Pre looks good, but it's the fruit of a response, post MacWorld 2007.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, from the Apple-style detailed keynote, to the device itself.

Pre looks very good. It's certainly no coincidence that it has an ex Apple exec(Rubenstein) at the helm.

At the very least, it'll keep Apple 'honest', and free from complacency.

the Pre looks bad ass but the whole keeping apps open has been done with window mobile, a great os, and the htc's touch hd is much better, its the iphones first real comp. besides the bb storm, its only flaw is it lacks a real key board. oh and wtf was up with the mexico comment?

I wanna try its fuction such as sound,UI,bluetooth and anything i want. It's kind of advance on design as well as UI which is haptic.

Palm has been around for such a long time, it is no wonder that they are coming out with yet another effective product.

In the market today, one asks what could possibly be different about a business/media device. What I see here is the genius poured into many different products arriving in a neat package by Palm.

Should make for an interesting First-Quarter.

mobility today has the best phone reviews i have seen, and if, NAVEDIER, you don't like "long ass videos" i suggest you go to others. Long videos show the full functionality of the phones that they review. GOOD JOB !

It looks completely not like that. If you have a closer look, you will find that this machine has, what the iPhone lacks, beginning with copy/paste and bluetooth that actually works. :-)

Apple is often the creative "leader of the pack", and Palm came up after the failed Apple Newton - so they are used to follow the innovation leader Apple.

Still this thing is what the iPhone should have been if it wanted me to invest money.
