My advice; don't do that to the original. Cloning should always been done on a seperate layer with "all layers" selected in the option bar. It avoids damaging the original, but also allows you to apply extra techniques to the modified area.
Btw, Ben Willmore is no guru, if he was he wouldn't have used this time consuming technique....sigh
It's the same with Scott Kelby and Dave Cross, people call them gurus, but when I explain to them in great detail in 2 emails now that their way of finding the gray point in any image is false, the cowards simply refuse to reply.
