the game creators probably ripped the mapp directly from Jak and Daxter, the scout flies we're pre-programmed into the map but since their was no code for them they we're either bugging the game out or just showed up as KG boxes. And for the sake of the game graphics the whole map was re-rendered its not that hard

OF course its a glitch, they just put the original level of Sandover Village to make the beginning scene of jak 2, why should they put the whole world of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor legacy into the game when they are just focusing on 1 level? (Sandover village). Thats why you can't explore more than the village.

@Frullzy It's a glitch because the set was imported for the opening cinematic but, with the method mentioned in the video, you can force the scene to end and dump you into the map which it shouldn't do.

It's just a fun find, nothing more.

Jak 4 is Jak X. Jak 5 is TLF made by High Impact. Kiera sexy but a horrible game! Jak is in Sandover cause that glitch works in both Jak 2 and 3. The game isnt gonna let u be Jak #1 cause the game plot is about Jak #2. A glitch dont prove anything! Sure the sounds match the senery and the crates are strange but what if you got enough dark eco? Maybe you could destroy something and unlock a real secret!

why the crimson guards crates are there:

ND obviously just copied the mapping for jak tpl then added rift rider and what not and they left the scout fly box entitys there for some reason and they had the same classname as crimsonguard crates

nice glitch but it has nothing to do with Jak 4 TLF for 2 reasons:

1. We already know the story has nothing to do with Sandover

2. The KG boxes replace the Scout Fly boxes from TPL but when ND looked at the level, deleting stuff they not need, they missed out those because they didn't see them at first (how dumb) SO THE TITLE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

It was entitled "Jak and Daxter 2: Renegade" on mine. XD

My theory:

They kept the model for that map , so that they could easily do the intro movie.

Another thing is that for the Jak 2 game, they could've used the same file for the scout flies, but used then remodeled the item into KG boxes (or made them with a file name that could make KG boxes the default item for the missing link).

So.. it's just a part of the intro that turned into a glitch. Nothing more, nothing less.

this is not what jak 4 will be like. it can be done on jak three as well, but it is in the desert. this is just showing what the world of jak two is that you can see in the first movie of the game. i know because i have played this series of games hundreds of times.

jak might go in to the past but farther. inorder to not make it so that jak two never happened, but then again he might go into the futher.
