@taypar11 while I agree homeless are just as human as the rest of us, i don't think it is wrong for people to spend more on pets than on the homeless. Some people just love animals more than other humans, it's just how their mind works. It's why some people choose to become vets instead of medical doctors. As long as the love is there, it doesn't really matter where the priority lies in my opinion.

He chose to make the wrong decisions that made him homeless, that might be the reason people are not so eager to help them with a home and food. Maybe people feel worse when it's a dog cause their more helpless and it's more sad to me cause of most dog's loyalty to a human even after being abused. Not saying what the kids were doing is right just explaining my view of things.

They embarass themselves and other people. They smell, they're poor, have no future, no incentive, no self confidence, no hope. What's the point in living... i live in Canada...I saw a guy face down on the snowy cement once, unconcious, I called 911 and told the cunt what I saw and her first question was- Is He Drunk?? (our city is racist against indians), so I asked her what the fuck difference that makes and how the hell can I tell that from an unconcious man??? I sounded pissed off and then she sounded apologetic and sed she'd send the ambulance.....and he was downtown at lunchtime....everyone just walked by...nice.

Can you imagine urinating on another human being? When people think more of an animal than a human being, then we're all in trouble. During this experiment, if ABC put a dog there instead of a human being, I'd bet everyone would have come to the aid of the dog faster than a human being. People spend more money on pets care and feeding than they do on homeless care and feeding. That's a sad fact.

@taypar11 So animals don't deserve care at all? Humans are capable of far greater evil than animals are. Animals have been abused and tortured and treated as objects for thousands of years. It's only right to give them more care now instead of never. Enough speciesism. We need to grow out of this. I'm not saying we shouldn't care for the homeless, because we should, but acting as if caring towards animals over humans at times is terrible is wrong. Wouldn't you save a dog over a convict?

@taypar11 while I agree homeless are just as human as the rest of us, i don't think it is wrong for people to spend more on pets than on the homeless. Some people just love animals more than other humans, it's just how their mind works. It's why some people choose to become vets instead of medical doctors. As long as the love is there, it doesn't really matter where the priority lies in my opinion.

@taypar11 I agree with what you said, but if you really think about it the homeless guy had a chance to do right in life. He chose to make the wrong decisions that made him homeless, that might be the reason people are not so eager to help them with a home and food. Maybe people feel worse when it's a dog cause their more helpless and it's more sad to me cause of most dog's loyalty to a human even after being abused. Not saying what the kids were doing is right just explaining my view of things.
