It was really slammed. We were there last May 21 to 25, 2008 (stayed at the former Lorenzo South resort at the far left side of the island, HI to the staff) and the island is still really beautiful. My first was in the late 80's when there was still not much buildings around. Anyway, I know it will rebound and will remain one of the Philippines' top destinations. Carry on, Boracay!
