The film was an interesting translation of Gould's strip, I kind of always wished for an actor who was closer to Tracy's profile with a sharp chin and nose and a G-man's edge to him, not that Beatty was bad in the role or anything, but if anyone ever did another Dick Tracy I really hope they try to capture Chester Gould's dark and dangerous world.

Dick Tracy was fucking awesome. I can't think of anyone I like better. The BEST thing is, that there isn't any possible way some asshole producer could ruin this by making a sequel. Everyone dies! Not Dick Tracy or the Kid, of course, but Flattop, Itchy, Prune Face, Paddy O'Brian, Big Boy, The Blank. Everyone. I love this movie. God bless Walt Disney!

Personally, I think Snyder would do a good job. I mean if Miller were to do it, it would be obvious that he'll make everything in black and white except for Tracy(duh....boring) and as much as I like Rodriguez, there would be to many El Mariachi/Pulp Fiction inside jokes.
