To be honest. I wouldn't date a white guy or a hispanic- even if I find them attractive! Thanks because now I'll pray about accepting God's will. I just could never "see" myself with someone of a different race, I get along with them fine, but as far as courting, I just couldn't see that. But that's past tense I'm going to change it today!!
lol..basically your saying your worried about "what if people say" well brother pastor its not about what if people say...so get over that...if God blessed u with a beautiful white wife are you gona question God and say "what if people say"...my point exactly.. people dont make ur life you do. point blank..im an upcoming pastor and i LOVE white women and my kids are mixed and i dont think about "WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY" im a man with good decesions through God's will....... ..man UP
Dude ... I know how to cook some food that'll straight up stop ur heart in its tracks! lmao! And I agree, Im white as snow and I get racism the other way! ITS CRAZY! Not just Cracker this r Honkey that, I get some Evil crapp spit on me! and then people turn around and expect me not too defend myself cuz "Black people can do w.e cuz their ancestors are slaves" Dude, come on! I havent owned a slave! I'm not racist, but racism gets me mad eather way...I'm not racist, My bf is Hispanic XP
It's ironic because I am an African girl, who would love nothing more than to date and marry outside of her race when the time comes. Most of my bf's have been black men ranging from various colors, but I have also dated a Caucasion dude, and even though the experience wasn't thrilling, I would still love to date a dude like Zack Efron. What would you say to that ?
I am a white guiy married to a black woman. I would only be married to a black woman because that's what I desire is a black woman. That is not a put down to any other women though. Some people just have preferences.
I have to be honest, at first I watched this video because I thought this was a video about NOT marrying a woman if she was outside of your race and I was getting ready to "unlike" the other videos I saw and unsubscribe. I'm with you, because God has called us to be faithful to Him, not to our race or to anything else over Him. I love what you said. I am a single woman of God and if He called me to marry a man of a different race, I would. He knows what's best for me! God bless!
I mean color is just color. Me i love men of all colors doesn't matter to me. Now i will have to say that i prefer light skin men it's been that way with me always but still i love men of all colors.
i am from london and i am white but i love black woman i prefer them to my own and i aint ashamed of it and i dont care what people think God bless all races 2 u get me :)
"if they light skinned, they want a guy that's dark skinned so they kids could be somewhere chocolate in the middle" LOL! hilarious. I admit i'm guilty. smh.
I'm hispanic. My parents did not want me to date black (or outside my race at all, so they say.) but they got to know my husband before we dated and saw how he was a man of God and they supported us getting married and treat him how they would if he was hispanic. Even my grandparents LOVE him. Although theres a few looks here and there, for the most part, we haven't got persecuted for our interracial marriage. As long as you are both people of God and equally yolked, its all good :)
I like what your message was, but I wish you would stop utilizing the derogatory term, h**ing. It is offensive, oppressive, and not edifying to a non-believers that have been fooled into believing that sex is a means to love or money. It doesn't have to be used to be relate-able. have a great day sir. Much props for addressing this issue.
Race is a nationally, not a skin color, People are dumb today, because back in the old world, you were not called by what you looked like, but where you were from, the Most High gave us color, for variety in our choosing, imagine what the world would be like without colors, dull is a understatment, yet Satan has use this for ages for us to regonize differences over each other, instead of being Thankful of the Beauty of this world, its ashame how we are destroying everything he created
Aww man...now I have to get rid of my dumb excuses lol. But seriously, this is something I've had a hard time with especially since the black community seems to be against interracial ANYTHING (friendship, dating, marriage, whatever). Prayer and faith have helped me purge my heart of things that didn't belong and this is something I need to tackle head on. Great message! God bless!
Wow great point that you propose. If anything i'm Haitian and I always claim that I would never get with a white guy. I rarely find then attractive and I feel as if I want some one with a culture at least similar to mine. It could be the low key racism, I couldn't say. It is something that I have to pray about. Thanks for the video, God bless.
@luciousndivine1 lol i'm Haitian too but I do think some white guys are cute. The color really doesn't matter to me as long as they got a good body and cute face. t's mostly on the other side where white guys aren't attracted to Black women
I hear you, great message! we all have a thought of who the perfect man/woman may be for us but God created us, set our life out in His book so he knows who is the right match for us. Its time for us as christians to take off our 'sunglasses' and look with our eyes of faith. Man does not see the way that God sees...GODS ways are higher - Prov 3:5:6
this is so true...my dad is black and a pastor and is married to my mom who is white...i see the way ppl r about this race thing...i also learned from this too cuz i always say i would not be with a white man and that's wrong cuz that could be who God has for me...thank u for correcting me lol and bringing up a issue that a lot of people have
I would without out a doubt, if i feel he is the one God has put in my life then yes. I'm from the South and i find white guys to be afraid of dating out their race, which i think is ashame. keep it up God bless you

Great video Pastor J!!! I am a black woman and i am attracted to and love black men.To me, there is no man like a black man. I am also a Christian and i want the will of God for my life. I agree with and feel what you are saying in this video. If it's God's will for me to marry a man outside my race, then so be it because i know God has the best plan for my life.
Lol! Pastor you are funny! That's why I'm learning to cook!
I'm more attracted to a specific race but I would hope my preference wouldn’t cause me to close the door to what God wants for me. As long as he loves God and passes the CAI test then cool. Thank!
Hilarious!! But hits the nail right on! It was a challenge for me! By the way can you tell me what type of camera you use for this video? It's so clear!
First of all, I would like to say that racism is WRONG and not a reflection of Christ. But I think God gives us wisdom. I know I have a call to ministry. Because of that, the WISE thing to do would be to marry a black man. Ministry is hard enough. If I want to be more effective, I think that would be the WISE way to go...Im just saying :)
Exactly on point brother!!...Im comign out to meet ya'll soon. I love the truth...we as black people seem to have these double standards that we accept racism in ourselves but demand acceptance from others.......Praise the lord for honesty.
I would marry outside of my race, if the Lord told me to do so. That being said, I think it's unlikely that many of the Black men who marry white women do so because the Lord told them. I believe many of them do so because of the prevailing yet bogus notion of white supremacy.
Use to have fears of having a white girl who couldn't dance, but now with ABCD, Dancing w the Stars and all these dancing themed shows, my newest fear is that marrying a white girl who outshines me at weddings and dance events. Nah but God gives us variety to choose from as well as to learn from, because in the end you might live 10 yrs longer off of Pasta Roni to do the Lord's business then you would off of Shaniqua's "make you wanna slap yo mamma" fried chicken.
Excellent, Pastor! Great points! Personally, I wasn't raised in the African American community but growing up the few Black men I did see were not married to Black women. So being a Black girl I didn't think that marrying a Black man was an option for me. Slightly repelled from them in fact (low key racism). Of course, having a renewed mind in Christ has made me see this issue as God sees it! I will continue to glorify God in my singleness! LOL!
Back in oklahoma we had Girls while growing up with that dumb mentality about how your child gonna look, therefore Only Light, Bright or white MEN will do....Stagnated mentality Period.
I understand what ur sayin' and u make valid points. However, im a black woman who just NOT attracted fo white men asian men etc. So ppl say u cant help who u fall in love which is true but for me my eye wouldn't even stray that direction. Nuttin' like a spiritual educated funny black man!!
@olskoolsk8r74 lol i think they're are quite a few women who's diggin Pastor J. i know for me personally a man who loves the Lord and that can make me laugh definitely gets my attention.
People might say that God brought them into their life, Which he probably did, but people want to use that as an excuse for their own personal gain. Because most Black men(the ones that drift towards white girls, bi-racial women) do it for specific reasons wether conciously or subconciously. And those reason are dangerous to Black communities, wether yall want to admit it or not. I love God, but you dont HAVE to go out n seek White partners. Dont pretend racism not as alive as it was back then..
I don't think it's cultural preferences....I think it's a fear. Most of the times bw are the one's who refuse to date outside their race b/c let's face it _It's still tabboo to date a bw in America. Bm are more willing. I think most bm deisre to marry outside of their race and sometimes these desire interfering with them marry the one God may want them to marry. Bw are not really jealous, I just think we are very worried about the future holds for us if most bm cintinue to date out side.
I love your videos. They line up with the Bible, but could you make some videos other than about dating and marriage? My biggest struggle is not being lustful or something like that. It's with the fear of man.
Pastor Thank God for this video! I feel what your saying! I am a black woman, but I grew up in an all white neighborhood, went to a white school, only had white friends, so of course, I only dated white men for a good portion of my life. Then I went to college and other races were available so I dated them, but it was hard for me to date black men.I think its so good for people to get over race and just know that God can call you to whoever he wants and that we should be open to it. Great video!
I guess things are different in LA.... cuz uh.... me and my fiancé never thought twice about it. Im white and she's black.... although our cultures are kinda flipped. She grew up in a country town and i grew up in an urban community. Either way we're awesome! lol
I love interracial relationships! Multi-cultural america!!!
@pastorJustinofP4cm i with you my brother on this. preference and excuses not to marry outside own race is often a mask to conceal prejudice and insecurity. This should have no place as members of the body of christ. same can be said with Classism and cultural imperialism.
@chaingang90 lol ull be surprised lol u still aint got no black in you and some indian, chinese, dutch and filipinio are racist to black ppl and vice versa lol. :( / :p
Good ending ;) honestly i'm not sure if i 100% with the 5 reasons but then again thats one's opinion. I'm mixed race and before (honestly) i used to only consider people who were mixed race or black but then i learnt (and i honestly thank God) that God moves in many ways and it doesnt matter if they are Black White etc as long as they are in the Will of God. I think some people just need to start seeing people through God's eyes Black/White or whatever
I thought for a LONG time that my friend (who is black) was the one God wanted for me. He was the only one i can say i have ever loved like that... but now i know he's just a friend but thats just saying that I was totally willing to forget about race. Its easy to forget until i look down and see my hands are white hahah but with him even when i did it wasnt "i wonder what OTHERS think" it was more "does HE care that im white?"
The truth is that there is a lot of HEALING that needs to happen in the Body of Christ regarding many matters to include ethnic/race issues. (Help me, Jesus!)We need to pray for healing & deliverance and continue to hear the Word of God concerning these matters. And listen to the voice of God when he speaks to us regarding his will for us in relationships of all kinds (courting & marriage between men & women and platonic friendships and covenant relationships).
#1 on my list (dont act like u aint got no list) is a Christian man. but i will say this [always have a disclaimer] i have always been open to interracial relationships since a child but at that time my reasons reflected self-hatred opposed to now which is just being accepting of it. HOWEVER i have slightly more of a preference to a black husband & having a large black family becuz of how rare it is 2 have & see that. & i never had that which is why i long 4 that beauty & possibility
I have reached my 32nd year within a mixed race marriage. Thank you Pastor for addressing this in a humorous, gracious, and yet serious way. Thank you, Lord, for providing me an loving and exceptional wife, who has borne us a wonderful son and taught me about the meaning of grace. How little I thought, growing up in a segregated city in the South, that my wife would not be white, but of another color. Thank you, Lord, for teaching me that love only comes in one color--Jesus.
Thank you so much for sharing this. i've been searching my heart for unforgiveness lately, trying to get some healing, and when i saw your title for this video it brought back a lot of hurt and such that i've felt due to racism specifically from some who are inside the church. With that hurt a little bitterness rose up and i realized this subject is something i need to broach within myself. Thank you again. i really enjoy your vids.
PREACH IT!! But for me...idc where he's from, he just has to speak a decent level of spanish for my folks and me lol ^^ I dont think thats really racist
Great message! I'm married now, but I was always an equal opportunity lover of all ladies, but I kept searching for a woman of God, and He delivered like He always does! Peace.
Man Pastor, if you came around here in Ky. I don't think ANY of the Black men are predjudice against white women, trust me. They'd probably get mad at you if they heard you talk about the sterotypical reasons why some don't choose to date white women. But some black men look at us black women like were some kind of "problem" that they don't wanna deal with, some treat us like the white women are better than us. Just because you may have had a bad experince with one doesn't mean with all ;)
When God brings someone into our life, w/ the purpose of friendship & later courtship, who are we to tell Him that He got it wrong when that particular person doesn't fit our ideal type in regards to race (or anything for that matter)? I'll be honest I use to be one of those black women that would feel that "sting" when I saw a black man w/ a white woman but I realized that God doesn't see color so y should I? When this world passes away none of that stuff will matter anyway. Thanx 4 posting!
thank you Pastor. You have truly opened my eyes and I believe that who is for me is for me BUT i never thought that he could possibly be outside of my race not because im racist, just because i never thought of the possibility of him not being african american- you are truly an inspiration!!
i will admit.....i was one of those chicks u mentioned.......but after the video.....i have a new perspective!!!!! I WANT GOD'S BEST 4 ME!!!!! Love ur vids!!!! God Bless!
Thank You Pastor for this so much. The Lord is speaking to me through you today. I was praying about this same thing. I do go to a predominantly white church. I love the church but I always wondered how I would handle such a situation. I'm not racist but i could see how parents or peers expectations can make such a situation difficult. It can definitely go beyond race. Even cultural differences can be hard to overcome, but I do believe the Holy Spirit will take you beyond all of that.
i was concerned about your "views" for a lil bit, glad you cleared it up at the end and it was all just your technique of teaching the message. good job.
well done! u certainly know how to grab attention lol. u ended in a great way! thank you for addressing the issue. I thank God for using you for His message. and thank YOU Pastor Justin for being open to the Holy Spirit! GOD BLESS YOU!

The reason why people marry within their race is because marriage, alone, is hard work. A difference of culture makes it even harder.
However, if you & your partner don't "care" about race/culture difference (which is very easier said than done) well...
Anyway God knows what He's doing

@220jen4christ Moses must have missed that wisdom, because he married an Ethiopian, being a Jew. How about that for ministry?

I would marry outside of my race, if the Lord told me to do so. That being said, I think it's unlikely that many of the Black men who marry white women do so because the Lord told them. I believe many of them do so because of the prevailing yet bogus notion of white supremacy.

There are NO different "races"-(What a sily word).
there are just different ethnicities. The only two races God cares about is the SAVED & UNSAVED.
We ALL came from 1 man & 1woman.

LOL!

XiaoFury 1 year ago 3
hahaha..inter-racial marriages produces best looking kids right?? totally agree with you pastor..we're no one to set preferences :)
cescthia4 1 year ago

Popz1992 1 year ago

Its easy to forget until i look down and see my hands are white hahah but with him even when i did it wasnt "i wonder what OTHERS think" it was more "does HE care that im white?"
sleepyhead61 1 year ago

When I see couples that are more alike, they appear more of a match and a team.
I think other relationships just add unnecessary complications.
