I know that is has something to do with the layers, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet.

yeah, you do have to use layers. first you draw the outlines on one layer, then make another new layer for the colors, all you need to do is have the outline layer on top of the color layers so it won't get covered by the colors. =)

Wonderful drawing! In fact, I am really puzzled of the fact that you use a computered drawing device... !! What an acuracy! You did that with your mouse? (not possible! (O_O) )

How do you do to colour your drawing? That is an other mystery! (with all these fine differences in Sakura's hair and face)

hihi laotze-san, thank you. I used to draw on papers, but now I do it mostly on computer cuz it saves me some time.

and I used a drawing tablet ^^ it's not possible for me to draw with a mouse ^^; although I know some people are really good at it!!

and I use a program called Painter to draw it and color it. Painter does a really good job of creating the feel of the real brush/tool~ ^^
