great voice. When it comes to Les Miserables...we can all be picky and say Colm is the best Valjean...and he is. But give this kid some props. Its hard shoes to fill. Hell, doing this production in high school would be a tough one to pull off.

great voice but no passion. this is a song that's supposed to bring tears to your eyes and make your heart stop. while this is definitely a superb technical performance, it lacked the passion that makes this piece come to life. my school is doing this show this year and Zach (the one playing Jean Valjean) just performed this song for the cast. Several of us were in tears and i think that that is more important than the technique. (although Zach's performance was technically impecable XD)

@SINGing4everr You are clueless... do you have any idea how amazing it is that this kid has this kind of voice? No... I guess you think Nick Jonas is wonderful and think anyone with a trained voice is an "opera singer"... get over yourself...

@kennyalancramer let me correct myself: He has a phenomenal voice. I am very aware of the talent that is needed to sing this song and no I do not think that Nick Jonas is wonderful. In fact, he rather sickens me. And for the record, I've been trained and I can't sing opera for my life. I am very musically inclined, certainly enough to know that it takes more than just a good voice to deliver an amazing performance. You need undying emotion. Something that this performance is lacking.

I dunno, he just doesn't seem to have enough passion. The voice is beautiful with outstanding clarity, but I don't believe him as a character.
