How To Burn a DVD With Nero

i have a problem when im trying to "import disc" it says "No appropiate disc was recognized in the recorder." and if i drag the file to project content it says "total space used: 4.37 out of 4.38 GB (Quality: Average) but the movie is 1.43 GB................ and if im trying to burn it says "there is not enaugh space available for the recording process: There are 1806 MB available for temporary files in the foler 'C:\DOCUME~1\WinXP\LOCALS~ Temp`, but the recording process will need approximetaly
