My 14 year old has TS and it is very hard to watch people stare and laugh at him. In the begining he was so depressed. I had him watch this show that followed 3 teenagers with TS. One had a great since of humor, one like doing stunts on his dirt bike and the third was very rude ungreatful for her family and bitter. My son loved the guy who could laugh at himself. He figured this out at age 10. So more power to you for putting on a show. People already are staring and laughing anyway.

That's fucking hilarious!!! LMAO!!! I know, it shouldn't be funny... and especially to me... I took a medication in elementary school that brought out "ticks" like those represented by Tourettes. It didn't help that my family had a history of it. But it's been over ten years since I've had a tick, so yay! But yeah... this is kinda funny, he is making fun of himself. I'm sure if it was unvoluntary it wouldn't be as funny, but I would still probably laugh... sorry!

People who don't laugh at themselves fail at life. I have TS and I suffer from it. It is sometimes uncomfortable to have people staring and laughing at me, but I don't act all stuck up about it. People need to laugh at the stupid things they do (with or without their control) so they can keep their self-esteem and sanity to a good level.
