I haven't seen many "pacifist" SEUCK games that I thought looked any good, but this is a definite exception. The build up from the easy roadways to the narrow lanes and frequent obstacles of later areas is very effective, as is the variety of obstacles and other road users. The larger vehicles are especially dramatic (I loved the steamroller in particular). It's those sort of touches that give a sense of a well-realised game world, create involvement, and overcome the limitations of the engine.
I must say this game looks very nice and detailed for a c64 game.
With a few more levels you could have easily sold this back in the day!
I remember playing around with the Toolbox Construction kit when I was about 7, spending about a half an hour on one sprite!
Gave up on it after that!
