I don't get why the whole sensitive artist threw some people off... Everybody has their sensitive side even the toughest people can fall to the cuteness of a kitten or something like that, but I don't think it's that's much of the point though... XD

And those tattoos strike me as creative... Not sure if they're tattoos though, so if I'm wrong shoot me... I haven't watched all the episodes and I don't know everything about the show.

I like the fact that the sensitive guy acts tough but is honest about things, thereby blurring the line. Especially when he mixes up the lyrics and tone of voice. (From what I know, the only difference from Rengi is that he isn't so honest!)

Yes, the marks are Renji's tattoos. He gets more every time he "achieves" something, like when he battled Byakuya and stood up to him he got the ones on his back. We don't know where he gets them though.

And I think this song is so great for Renji ^.^ 'Cuz when it comes down to it, he IS pretty badass, but he's also a goofball and really sensitive.
