I think all these comments on sexuality is a bit out of sorts. There are two distinct differents: One wrestling is a sport, not a sexual festish and two when you are on the mat you think about one thing-which is to win!!!!! Use your head on your shoulders girls and guys!!!
I hate to dampen Ms. Saochao's hopes of one day telling her grandkids about her wrestling past, but becoming a grandmother hinges substantially on one's being heterosexual. That could be an increasing problem if she carries on wrestling. I am not saying that all girl wrestlers are by nature lesbian, but the game will most definitely expose them to approaches by lesbians. The same was true of women's tennis until the glamorous eastern Europeans came on the scene.
bingo! with "wrestling" its even more obvious, because of the total body-to-body contact, as well as grabbing hold of and rubbing against each others "no-no" parts. for girl wrestlers to deny this is b/c they dont want to admit it and bring up such an uncomfortable discussion. even high school boys playing football get aroused after tackling another guy to the ground.... but wrestling is just one step away from sex! take away their uniforms and ask ANYONE what "wrestling" actually looks like....
To be honest, and speaking as a heterosexual male, I'd feel a whole lot more comfortable wrestling a girl than I would another guy. I definitely wouldn't want to be groin to groin and exchanging bodily fluid (i.e., sweat) with another male, with only a couple of layers of thin lycra between my naked body and his. I know most male wrestlers aren't gay but there's still something about watching two men wrestling one another that makes me feel distinctly uneasy.
